Winter Japanese dishes - Sashimi

This winter in Kumamoto was probably one of the coldest in the history that we didn't have much winter delicacies as we used to be.  We ended up having a lot of Tuna sashimi which is frozen when it catches so the quality is the same all year long.  I don't know the reason that when it's too cold we don't have the fish as we used to.. probably the fishermen don't go for fishing... or too cold for the fish as well.

「2月の刺身」今年の2月は寒かった。寒すぎて良い魚や新鮮な野菜がなかった。普通だとお刺身も安価で生きのいいものを毎日のように頂くのに、今回は鯛かマグロばかりになってしまった。2月の終わりに頂いたカワハギはとても美味しかった。
