Flank steak with beans


I hardly cook beans because it's hard to hind dried beans that are not too old.  Freshness of beans is very important because even you cook for long hour if beans are old, they never become tender.

I cooked half package left of beans that I bought a while ago.  As I suspected, it didn't become very tender so I tossed in salad.

「フランクステーキと豆」白インゲン豆を煮て何らかの肉料理の付け合わせにしようと思っていたが、豆が古くて柔らかくならなかった。長く煮たが、食感に滑らかさが無く、少しコリコリした感じ。捨てるのはもったいないので、サラダにした。
