Chikuyotei - Higashi Ginza

Unagi; grilled eel is one of the most delicious dishes in Tokyo.  I love the eel in Tokyo style because of the soya sauce.  Western Japan tends to cook eel with slightly sweet soya sauce but I like Edo style of not sweet soya sauce.

「竹葉亭・東銀座」江戸の料理で好きなものが、寿司と鰻。野田岩と迷ったが、今回は竹葉亭に。野田岩に比べてタレはすっきり、鰻もさっぱりとしている印象だ。東京の味は、きりりとしていて鰻は特に好きだ。幸せなひと時。
