White snapper grill

This is probably my favorite fish in Singapore as of now.  It's lean white fish and it's very cheap here.  I understand the reason this fish costs less than the other fish, that is because the meat is lean.  Asian people in general prefer fatter fish meat.

Though this is a kind of snapper which has no fishy smell so I really like it.  I'll try to use this one more in the future.

「ホワイトスナッパーのごま油ロースト」これは現時点で、私が一番好きな地元の魚だ。結構な大きさで１kg弱ある。味は日本の鯛を淡白にしたような感じだが、臭みもなくとても美味しい。これが地元のスーパーで５００円くらいでとても安い。

おそらくシンガポール人は脂身の少ない魚があまり好きではないのだろう。香港でも同様だが、中華圏の人はハタのような身がプルプルした魚が好みだが、さっぱりと感じるものは好きではないのだと思う。
