Shiosaba no tomato yaki


Shiosaba means salted mackerel in Japanese.  Mackerel is high in natural fish fat it tastes very well with white rice.  In normal Japanese kitchen, we have fish griller since Japanese people eat grilled fish so often but I cooked the fish in frying pan in Hong Kong.  I added fresh tomatoes around the mackerel for the sauce for this dish.

「塩鯖のトマト焼き」トマトが美味しい季節ではないが、少し前に作った料理。塩鯖は普通に焼いて大根おろしで頂くのが一番美味しいと思うが、時々脂の乗りがいまいちかな?と思うものにあたることもある。これは塩鯖をフライパンで焼いて、最後の方でトマトを加えたもの。いつもの料理に少し変化があってもいい。
