When we're in South of France, my mother is law usually cook. Because we stayed long time this time, I proposed to cook something for them one night. I chose to make classical french dish of Turbot. This is not very complicated but great dish for special occasion. I made the sauce with the fond of the fish itself.
It was my first time to eat turkey in France. I was surprised because I didn't think turkey is produced in France. The way my mother in law prepared turkey and it was absolutely delicious. Turkey was very tender and great match with the flavor of moreilles.
This is Korean style of Okonomi yaki. Since I'm back to Hong Kong, it was raining everyday. My Korean friend once told me that Chijimi is a dish for Korean to cook in rainy day so I made something similar. This is done absolutely not authentic way but I made with cabbage and squid. I also used tempura powder but it was very tasty.
This is the dish I made recently. I've never been a big fan of curry but when I'm in Hong Kong where the weather is hot and humid, I really feel like eating something spicy. This is chicken drum stick cooked in curry powder, saute of onion, tomato with chicken stock.
Camargue is the region near city of Arles along Mediterranean sea. It's known for white horses and flamingos. I've found the filed is absolutely beautiful. I saw many horses along the course of driving. When I come closer to the horses, I found that they are actually very small compares to regular riding horses.
