Yakiniku

Yakiniku culture comes from Korea, but when it came to Japan, the style had changed.  In general Japanese way of Yakiniku, we don't marinate the beef and cook in grill or grill pan directly then dip in Yakiniku sauce calls "Yakiniku no Tare" right before you eat.  I believe in Korean way, you marinate the meat in something like fruits based soya sauce before grilling the meat.

I tried Korean way this time, and marinated the slices of beef in ground onion, garlic, apple, sake and soya sauce mix.  The smell of this sauce is very appetizing.  I also sauteed some vegetables slices of onion, mushrooms and bell pepper with the sauce.
