Autumn aubergine

We usually say that aubergine tastes better in autumn.  This was white aubergine and turned brown when I roasted it.  I found the white aubergines has unique texture; sticky and melting in the mouth.

「秋ナス」これは白いナスを焼いたものだが、皮は焼いたら茶色になった。白なすは食感が普通のナスとは全く違うことに気がついた。粘り気が強く、ねっとり、とろりとしていて、とても美味しかった。
