Sasami no Shiso cheese maki fry








This is deep fried chicken fillet mignon shiso leaves and cheese inside.  Shiso leaves are Japanese herbs similar to basil yet they have particular fragrance.

Open the fillet mignon but not to cut though then place shiso leaf, you can replace them with basil leaves and some cheese you like.  Then roll up and coat with flour, egg and bread crumbs.  Deep fry them in oil.

「ささみのしそとチーズ巻き揚げ」ささみを半分に開いて紫蘇の葉とプロセスチーズを棒状に切ったものを置いて巻き、衣を付けて揚げた。紫蘇の香りがさっぱりしたささみにとてもよく生きる。
