Russian cutlet








This is one of the typical Russian home dish.  Ground chicken meat with lot of vegetable inside, such as carrots, onion and potatoes.  Ground those vegetables with cheese grinder.  Mix with the meat then season with salt and pepper.  Shape in flat balls and insert dried prune on the top.  Then pan fry in non stick pan with lid on.  Slowly cook the cutlet both sides until all the vegetables cook through.

「ロシア風カツレツ」これはロシアの家庭料理。鶏の挽肉に人参、タマネギ、ジャガイモを生のまますりおろしたを加えてじっくり焼いたもの。ドライプルーンが鶏肉にとてもよく合う。時間をかけたくない時にはジャガイモを入れずに焼いた方がよい。
